Book Review: Confident Moms, Confident Daughters

Confident Moms, Confident Daughters: Helping Your Daughter Live Free from Insecurity and Love How She Looks
 by Maria Furlough
Our society puts so much emphasis on our looks and our size, even our health and diet. Maria looks at this from such a straightforward and healthy angle. Her basic premise is that we think about ourselves too much. If our focus was on Jesus and those around us, we would be less concerned about every detail and flaw. We would be healthy and have more joy in every day.

Maria acknowledges that it is important to set a healthy example. She just points how often we send the message that our body and our health are the top priority of life. She shines a light on many areas and attitudes that need to be considered.

I will be sharing and recommending this book to my friends and family.
